UNWIND

DIRECTIONS: Shake container well before opening. Mix 1 scoop of Unwind with 6-8 oz of cold water. Unwind can be used to promote relaxation and support resistance to stress/anxiety. Take once daily, apart from other medications or natural health products.

KSM-66™ ASHWAGANDHA: KSM-66™ is a specialized highly concentrated root extract of Ashwagandha. Ashwagandha is an adaptogen that amplifies the body’s ability to regulate the neurological, immune, reproductive, endocrinal and energy-production systems. L-Theanine: L-Theanine is a glutamic acid analog. Able to cross the blood-brain barrier, L-Theanine has psychoactive properties; it’s been suggested to reduce mental and physical stress and support cognition and mood.

Magnesium: Magnesium is often very low in those with hormonal imbalances or those with poor digestion. Magnesium is one of the most supportive minerals to take during times of increased stress because stress is so depleting to our mineral stores. Magnesium deficiency can certainly play a role in anxiety and HPA axis dysregulation; studies show taking magnesium improves sleep and promotes relaxation as well. Unwind uses a highly bioavailable form of Magnesium to maximize uptake. 

Zinc: Zinc plays a significant role with respect to the stress response. Proper maintenance of zinc status can help to stabilize serum cortisol levels over time, and zinc intake has been shown to temporarily inhibit cortisol secretions. However, in turn, prolonged stress will deplete zinc concentrations in the blood - so adequate intake of zinc is imperative for proper hormone balance.
